Easy Clean hullpaint

Seaboost Easy Clean hullpaint is a biocide and silicone free coating for boats using boat brush stations, Seaboost Powerturf and Powerbrush and other mechanical cleaning methods during the boating season to prevent fouling.

The operating principle and economics for Easy Clean hullpaint is simple. Paint less and use the time and money saved to wash the hull during the seasons. Minimal wear of microplastics and other environmentally harmful substances makes Easy Clean stand out from other “eco” paints that requires frequent painting due to erosion and soft surfaces. Easy Clean hullpaint is truly an ecological choice that also benefits the boat’s performance and saves money.

A service interval of approx. 8 years is unique among antifouling and foul release paints, which usually require renovation every one or two years. An intact surface after such a long period means that no harmful substances have been released into the sea. It also means you don’t have to renovate uneven paint layers that has been built up during years of painting and erosion. In the long run, you will discover how much easier and more cost effective it is to wash the boat bottom a few times during the season. At the Baltic Sea, the need for washing is approx. 2-3 times per season. With today’s antifouling paints, you probably still end up in a situation where you wash the bottom during the season.

An extremely hard surface is also practical for boats that are used in the winter and driving in ice.
