NEW Brush Station for in-water hull cleaning
NEW Brush Station for in-water boat hull cleaning
Seaboost launches its new Brush Station concept for boating season 2024. The concept responds to the demand for collective and simple hull cleaning solutions for boat clubs, harbors, marinas, and other collective associations, who want to improve their service. Brush Station suits motorboats under 8 meters with v-shaped hulls, and outboard engines or stern drive. It is a cost-effective solution in collective use by ten boats or more.
The structure consists of a pair of booms, and a sturdy brush box between the booms. The box is equipped with buoyance and long harsh brushes, that adapt to various hull shapes. The buoyance forces the brushes up against the hull and clean the hull when you drive back and forth in the station.
The patent pended technique has been kept as simple as possible. It does not require electricity, personnel, or other infrastructure. Only a suitable pier and the boat's own engine are required. The service can be offered around the clock in the whole boating season for boaters visiting the harbor.
Keeping the hull clean and efficient at the Baltic Sea, requires you to brush the bottom approximately three times during the season. In the station, the boat is driven a few times back and forth on the brushbox, while a separate dampened rope structure ensures that the boat does not run too far in. Tickets can be sold separately for a wash, or alternatively for the entire season, or the service can be provided free, to generally improve service in the port.
Seaboost can offer administration services, as stickers to identify boats that have paid the seasonal fee, and the Seaboost web shop can be used to sell these directly to end customers.
